BEFORE YOU BOOK
Terms of service.
This page explains how this website works and how Galarex quotes and books weddings and events. It restates the written agreement you review before you book. It does not replace that agreement.
Using this website
The information on this website is general. Nothing on it is a contract or an offer until you accept a written agreement from Galarex.
The hero and atmosphere photos are licensed stock images. They do not show Galarex clients. See the photo credits for the photographers and licence. The reviews on this website are selected Google reviews of Jacob’s DJ performances, and they express the views of the people who wrote them. How Galarex handles your information is described in the privacy policy.
Inquiries and quotes
An inquiry is a conversation first, with no commitment to book. It does not reserve a date.
Galarex prepares a quote tailored to your event. A quote stays open for acceptance until the date printed on it, and a quote alone does not reserve your date. A quote shows the package price, any planned overtime, travel, extras, any applicable tax and the total in Canadian dollars, with a payment schedule.
Booking
Your date is reserved only after you accept the written agreement, Galarex receives the booking payment and Galarex confirms availability in writing. The booking payment is credited toward your total when it is received. The amount of the booking payment, the later payment dates and the amounts are shown in your quote and agreement.
Before you sign, you can review the full quote and terms, ask for corrections or decline. You sign electronically by typing your name and choosing “Sign and accept agreement”. The agreement and payment records are emailed to you, and you can save or print a copy.
Performance time
Your agreement states the performance hours you are paying for. Travel, loading, setup, sound check and teardown are outside the paid performance time. Extra time on the day needs your approval and the DJ’s availability, and any charge for it is agreed before the extra time begins.
Venue and access
Your agreement sets out the venue terms for your event. In plain words, you arrange safe loading access, parking, a dry and level performance area, suitable electrical power and permission to use the agreed equipment. Setup and teardown access times are agreed with the venue in advance and sit outside the booked performance hours. You tell Galarex about sound limits, curfews, stairs and access restrictions before the event. Any additional charges must be agreed in writing.
Changes
Only the services and charges shown in your agreement are included. Changes to timing, location, equipment, travel fees or overtime must be agreed in writing. Your planning questionnaire helps plan the event but does not itself change prices or the agreement.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling and what happens if Galarex cannot perform are explained in the cancellation and refund policy.
If your signed agreement is different
If your signed agreement differs from this page, the signed agreement applies.
Your rights
Mandatory consumer rights are not waived. Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies available under Ontario law.
